Board of Trustees

Israel Vaealiki is the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees.  He and his wife, Tania, have three children.  Their eldest, Elijah, is in Learning Hub 1.  

Israel is a practicing lawyer working in a boutique law firm that specializes in trusts, trusteeships, wills and estates, and family succession planning.  Through his profession he has knowledge of governance issues relating to boards of trustees of non-profit organizations as well as a good general knowledge of administration, business and transactional issues that trustees have to deal with.

Israel wishes to support the school and its leadership in creating a first class learning environment for our children. He wants each child at Stonefields to enjoy learning and have their individual interests and talents nurtured.

Glenn Cosford's daughter Maya is in Learning Hub 1 and he has another child who will start in 2013, so he has a vested interest in ensuring the growth and success of the school with which he will have long association.  

He is a member of the New Zealand Police and until recently served the Mt Wellington community as part of his job.

Glenn, along with Tania, will take on the Human Resources portfolio on the Stonefields Board of Trustees.

Tania Reed is married to Peter and has two children; Ashton in Learning Hub 2 and Isla who is 2 and a half.  Her family purchased a house in Stonefields in June 2009 and have been involved with the developing community ever since.

She has worked for UDC Finance since 1994 in different roles; her current position is Operations Performance Manager.  

Tania, along with Glenn, will take on the Human Resources portfolio on the Stonefields Board of Trustees.

 Kelly Keenan and her husband Martin have two children attending Stonefields School.  Craig is a Year 6 student in Learning Hub 3, and Michelle is a Year 4 student in Learning Hub 2.

 Her family has lived locally for 14 years and she owns and operates a successful business.  She welcomes the opportunity to be involved with a local school that will reflect and grow with our community.

Kelly will be responsible for the Communication portfolio on the Stonefields Board of Trustees.

Diane Harrison is a local parent of two boys, aged almost 5 and 18 months, who will attend Stonefields School.  She was a member of the Establishment Board of Trustees and was heavily involved in all aspects of opening our new school.

 Diane believes strongly in the values of this school and will continue to work hard in providing a safe and enjoyable environment for our learners, where they can thrive both academically and personally.

Diane is an accountant with a property finance background. She will use this experience in her role as the Finance portfolio holder for the Stonefields Board of Trustees, along with Israel.
